Our Work Plan 2020/21: The survey results are in!

Back in August we sent out a survey asking you to rank 7 selected topics, based on some of the things that have been happening with health and social care over the last few months, letting us know which ones were most important to you.

The survey results are in and the top four priorities as voted by you are:

1. Diagnosis and treatment for cancer & other conditions
2. Getting help from your GP
3. Home care services
4. Young peoples mental health services

We will be focusing on these four topics in our work over the next 18 months- Keep an eye out for further information and opportunities to get involved on our Facebook and Twitter pages, and in our future newsletters. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part in our survey!

Further to our Workplan Priorities survey, our prize draw winner, randomly selected, is Tracey from Chester-Le-Street! Tracey said “I am happy to have been able to have a say in Healthwatch County Durham's work priorities, and what a lovely surprise winning the voucher- I have never won anything before, so this has made a tough time a little bit easier”

During the COVID19 pandemic we continue to work with you to help you access services and support during these difficult times. Just a reminder that we are still here to help- please contact us on our freephone number 0800 304 7039 or at healthwatchcountydurham@pcp.uk.net
