Winter 2018 prize draw

With help from advertising in Durham County News, our event work and social media outreach, anyone that signed up to our monthly newsletter during mid-November to mid-December was told that they’d be automatically added to our free prize draw, and in with a chance of winning a luxury food hamper, packed full of goodies by the team at Knitsley Farm Shop in Consett.

The response was extremely positive and we are pleased to announce that lucky Dee Lyle, from Ferryhill, was randomly selected as our winner!

Healthwatch board member Chris Shore, Outreach Officer, Faye Smith, and ‘Elfwatch’ one of Santa’s Christmas elves, presented Dee with her prize on the 21st December, ensuring that the team could truly contribute towards her Christmas Day, making it feel extra-special!

Dee, a mum of two young girls, Skyler and Kaia-Mai, was overwhelmed to win, stating “…the girls are going to really enjoy the goodies in the hamper – it feels like Christmas has come early for us. Thank you.”

Dee, the whole team here at Healthwatch County Durham wish you a huge congratulations. We hope that your Christmas is one to remember!
