Diagnosis and treatment for cancer and other conditions
We are looking to gather the views from patients (and/or their carers) with a potentially serious disease or condition, for example patients diagnosed with cancer or patients who have suffered a heart attack or stroke. To understand how their experiences may have been influenced by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes their diagnosis, treatment and aftercare and whether this has been delayed, changed or disrupted. If you have an experience you would like to share with us, please get in touch.
We are looking to gather the views of people who access home care services, to find out what works well and what they think could be better about the care and support they receive in their home. We would like to know if anything has changed about the support they receive since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and to find out if people feel socially isolated.
If you receive care and support in your own home, we would be really grateful if you or a family member could take our short survey to share your experiences.
Mental Health and Young People
We will be gathering the views of children and young people on how their mental health needs are supported, finding out about their experiences and identifying what they need to help them manage their mental health. The work will be conducted through a series of focus groups, surveys and conversations with children and young people aged 25 and under.
If you are under 25, having your say in our survey can help shape future mental health support for young people. If you are the parent or carer of a younger child, please feel free to complete the survey with them – every voice matters!
Getting help from your GP
We have been talking to the public to hear about their experiences of accessing services at their GP Practice during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our report highlights the success stories and the challenges that patients have faced. We have also looked the quality of the information provided on telephone messages and practice websites - you can read what people told us by reading our report below. We are now looking at how groups of people such as refugees have been able to access services during this very difficult time.
