We have engaged with GPs and the d/Deaf community. We wanted to find out if patients accessing the GP surgery were having their communication needs met in line with the Accessible Information Standards.  We have compiled this report outlining the experiences of the d/Deaf community when communicating with GPs, receptionists and other healthcare professionals.  We also gathered feedback from 9 practice managers about the standards they have in place for assisting people who have communication requests.  Please find the published report detailing the issues faced, examples of good practices and recommendations for improvement
